I'm nervously checking my professional e-mail to see if the third professor I requested a recommendation from for grad school will respond. It's summer, she's probably checking e-mail less often (though she usually teaches summer session). The other two responded quickly and enthusiastically, so it's like I just need this third one...We've been in touch fairly recently through an organization we're both in, and she's always happy to see me. So I'm sure she'll write me one...I think I'm just nervous about so many other aspects of applying that every little step is this huge deal.
I haven't told many people I'm applying, and apparently H told his mom, because she asked me about it at dinner last night. SHe thought it was great, but I was like, "Ack, I thought I told him not to tell people." I just want fewer people to have to tell if I don't get accepted to any of them, or if I can't get any kind of funding so can't afford to go. Or I'm scared I *will* get in and get funding, then won't be able to handle it. Can you tell I have self-confidence issues?
