My cat is stodgy and provincial. He would disdain any international celebration. He is suspicious when I try to give him new treats. I once bought him expensive cat food and he cried at me for two days, while picking out and eating only his old chow that I had mixed in so as to ease him into change gently, before I went and gave him just his regular purina cat chow - it took weeks before he forgave me for that.
The youngest dog just got his own foot caught in his mouth. He is the village idiot.
