Hello. I was wondering if it's appropriate to purchase a small gift to show appreciation for everything that my daughter's counselor has done for her. She was seeing this counselor through my EAP at my previous job, and I haven't worked there in over a year. They've gone above and beyond to be able to keep seeing her, but we've finally come to the end of the line. My daughter loves seeing her counselor and I hate that she won't be able to see her anymore. I've received some recommendations for new counselors from her current counselor, but I wasn't sure if a small gift would be appropriate. Her last appointment is tomorrow.
