I never financially supported anyone except my daughter when she was a child. I also was never dependent on anyone. I taught my daughter that it's very important to have a fulfilling career and do not ever depend on a man. My mother had a career and raised kids just fine, so did my grandmother and so did my great grandmother and great great grandmother. Further in generations I don't know
