I am in the lower mainland of BC but there has been 65,000 hectares of forest burnt to a crisp! The nearest fire is in Harrison lake east side and that was man made one! But there is a total of 142 fires burning out of control with 6,900 workers trying to put them out! $142millon has been spent so far on the efforts of it all!
