My point was that the unique structure of therapy is precisely the thing that can ruin people, and this possibility is rarely even mentioned. Instead therapy is conflated with all sorts of other things and then it's all a muddle and therapy as a system is off the hook.

I see that it is mentioned plenty of times here by the people that have experienced being ruined by it. It seems you would like it to be mentioned by more people more frequently. If that consistently isn't the case it would seem reasonable to conclude that more people haven't had that experience.
