I keep old meds, but NOT because i plan to do self harm with them. However, if you want to dispose of them, you can use the suggestions above, or simply put them down the sink, toilet, or in w/dirty cat litter if you have a cat. Its not recommended you put them in the trash because they could be recovered. If someone is checking and concerned you might mix them up, you could remove the old meds to a big ziploc or box. Then just keep your current meds all together.
