In a perfect world yes, what you say is true. We don't live in a perfect world however. Yes, I would support someone I love if the situation called for it. Yes, I have been supported in my own life. You never know what might happen to you to make you dependent or what could happen to someone you love to make you feel differently about supporting another. Kids can be born disabled so don't have them if you know you will never change your mind about supporting someone.
