I cannot count how many times I've been told that I AM NOT ALONE. Never understood that - as if it's supposed to make me feel better somehow. But, it doesn't. All it does is remind me how utterly annihilated I was by them before I even got the chance to grow up and become whatever it was I was supposed to be, and that there are others out there just as broken, hollow and fragile as me and that most of society isn't very caring or concerned about that at all and with many of them looking for ways to shatter us even more!
