When I was working as an OT I used to work with patients to be sure they could safely fill a pill box. I had a bunch of prescription bottles with identifying info removed and beads used as pills. One of my patients with dementia got into the bottles and ate a bunch of beads. They looked like candy to him. I felt HORRIBLE even though it was fine and he just had to digest them.
