I'm suffering from anhedonia. It means no pleasure. Are you suffering from it? Does music not move you but merely seem interesting now? Do you feel the afterglow of sex anymore? Does alcohol or coffee allow you to feel the faint bit euphoric anymore? None of them do for me anymore since I took an SSRI years ago. I took an ssri for awhile for panic attacks and it completely numbed me until it sent me spiraling into a manic depressive episode and I was taken off it immediately and put on lamictal. I've been off the lamictal for two months now but I haven't felt my emotions since the ssri. I hear this drug works for some: Moclobemidehttps://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Moclobemide.
and Mirtazapine https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mirtazapine
Awareness for anhedonia caused by ssri's is a bigger problem than you'd think. On the depressionforums.org there is an entire section devoted to threads on anhedonia. https://www.depressionforums.org/for...105-anhedonia/

Is anyone else suffering from anhedonia and are there any treatments? And before you tell me to lift weights, go outside, and have a cup of tea and live off pumpkin seeds contemplating my naval I've already tried that and I am very healthy and I do take care of my body.
