In the past I have withdrawn from several antidepressants of different families with remarkably few effects. In each case the doctors weaned me off them slowly and carefully. I remember in one case the doctor had me double the recommended time for each step down -- I don't recall which one.

The meds helped little if at all when I was taking them. They gave me few problems weaning off them. I'm currently taking Celexa as well, and I've been on it for several years.
