I used to have a loyal attitude, but I've become more strategically minded. Now I play my job offers against each other to get employers to raise their salary offers. Honestly, I am still getting underpaid relative to my schooling and experience, and I have not made it too far in the rising up the career ladder area, but I am getting better. Just today, I ended a part-time job, and I let the employer know that I was trading his part-time work for another part-time job that paid me higher wages. It's true and I only have limited time given I also have a full-time job, too. I deserve to get paid more, so it's a move in the right direction.
