I was diagnosed bipolar un November last year, after being like 12 years on antidepressants. They last manic episode started on June last year. I was put on Depakote and lithium and Seroquel, and stopped taking they antidepressants. It helped but I entered a mixed episode. At least for me, the miracoulus drug is Zyprexa: it kills manía un a few days. It comes with huge weight gain and sedation.
