Tonight a few co-workers (not all but some) went out for dinner and they didn't invite me to go. Granted I am on a diet and am not eating full meals, but it would have been nice for them to invite me. At the same time, I don't know if I fully care.

Same. I am always excluded too. And the fact that they talk about personal problems at work is also something that bothers me. There is no time to talk about personal issues in a work setting, especially in front of students. It looks very bad and unprofessional.
