This is 100% exactly what I do when stressed, too. It's kind of like a cave to hibernate in, where we can distract ourselves with sleep and reading and watching things. I think our minds treat laying in bed like a healing process, but the problem of course is that it becomes habitual, and we don't feel like we've recuperated, so we just keep laying around. Sigh.
