Can anyone explain how they withdrew off of an SSRI? For example, I was taking 100mg. For the last two years I have been breaking the end off the pill so I am probably taking about 80mg.

For the past two weeks I have been not taking a pill one day at all, then the next two days will take 50mg. I kind of vary it. If I notice a withdrawal side effect (such as the head zaps, etc.) I will take a pill the next day

So far I am doing fine. but I also think I may be in love, so my brain may be high on that.

I have been wanting to do this for a long time ( I take the pills only so I don't have to deal with withdrawal symptoms and because the people I am around on a constant basic are negative, depressing, and demeaning.

I withdrew off of Zoloft years ago and I remember it was bad! I think sertraline messes with the way you think. it makes you take things you shouldn't take. I am also noticing an increased sex drive even though it is very high to begin with!!.
Does anyone have a plan on how they withdrew? Did your sex drive return?

This week I have been taking half of a pill each day. I am now noticing extreme tiredness, craving junk food, slightly dizzy, off.
