I have two meds for anxiety, Xanax and Inderal. The Xanax is 0.5 mg tablets and the Inderal is 10 mg tablets. I was prescribed 3 tablets of each a day and was taking them all but I was slurring my speech so the doctor said take less. So now taking about 1 mg Xanax and 10 mg Inderal a day instead of 1.5 mg and 30 mg. Anyway, my question is, can I occasionally take half a pill of each, 0.25 mg Xanax and 5 mg Inderal at the same time? This would really only be once a week before talking about traumatic memories in therapy and once in a while on really bad days. Or should they be spaced apart? I'll ask my doctor when I see her but that's not for 3 more weeks so I was wondering what to do in the mean time.
