I don't see the hype in S7s but there is lots of other nice phones out on the market I rather get if I was to switch!

I just hope u get what you pay for and not something that's too much to bargain for!
Knowing Apple's history and pattern of releases, I expect with almost certainty that the next phone will be a 7S, retaining much the same construction as the 7, aside from faster internals and maybe one or two features that Apple will boast about.

I agree. I picked the Galaxy S7 for its raw performance, and the Quad-HD AMOLED screen. I missed that from my old Galaxy Note 4. Sad it isn't 5.7" though, I liked the bigger screen. I considered going to Huawei again, but finding good cases for their new line up like the P10 and Honor 9 is very difficult. The S7 is easy to find cases for it. Additionally, the S7 saw a reduction in price following the S8's release. I personally do not like the S8 at all. My wife has one, and its complete lack of bezels makes it very difficult to put in a case without interfering with functionality. Add in the curved edges of the screen, I could not stand that. So that's why I settled for an S7. My wife had an S6 Edge+ and then with her recent S8+, they've both been very reliable for her.

Sorry I went on a tangent. I just had to give my techy 2 cents worth on why I chose the S7.
