My girlfriend thinks that I don't love her. I wish she had a better understanding of major depression. She makes all of my plans for me. I have a daughter who just started high school, and my GF has two daughters who are about to go back to school. My daughter had a tough week with all AP classes. I had to cancel plans to see my girlfriends daughter play in a violin recital. I am also caring for an ailing 81 year old father. I have lost interest in all of the activities that have been planned for me. I simply want my down time after work and on the weekends. Normal people tend to want many activities in their lives, but my M.D. just makes me lose energy and interest. She doesn't seem to want to deal with the realities of my disease. Tired of her planning everything and getting mad when I say no.
