Have you considered mindfulness meditation... They can help you to be in the moment more present to the experiences that you are having... There are books, classes, Android/iPhone apps, seminars, YouTube videos on this, I have been trying this and it has helped... But it is like going to to the gym you have to do it and keep up with it even if you think it's not working eventually you see results.... Hugs to you
