Does anyone served a "rice notice," or under this type of a review ever consult an attorney, either through a union or on one's own? Do you have access to representation if you want representation? How can you be as sure as possible the process is fair to you?
Crap! You don't need this!
I am very sorry this has come about and I hope things do turn out in your favor.
Please be kind to yourself and keep us posted on how you are doing?

If my old district is bad mouthing me for no reason I have legal recourse through the union but I don't have it in me to fight this. I'd much rather just leave education. It's what I want to do anyway. I only took the assistant position because the school schedule works with my son's schedule so well. But I'll take a different job and figure out child care if I need to. Anything to be out of education. It was no good for me, nothing but stress and anxiety.
Thanks for your well wishes.
