It doesn't mean or not mean any specific thing, its a GENERAL function score, a combination of all factors, even including physical health issues.
Think of it as a score that rates your ability to take a shower, go to work, do your job, come home, prepare your dinner, relax, and go to sleep. 100 is perfect, 1 is completely non functional.
Psychosis of course would reduce the score.
