I would have very little confidence in whatever tests you are taking (especially if they are online). There is some controversy over whether these tests truly measure what they are measuring (aka bad construct validity). Additionally, perhaps the tests are not reflective of the type of abstract questions and topics that one would stumble across in the real world.
