I sent an entrepreneur a video about a situation which could give his new business an advantage. He thanked me and I asked if the video proves useful to him. He told me it doesn't and told me his reasons. I then told him "actually if you do X, it could get you Y", and got no response.

We used to work at the same place and I got some chances to "talk business" with him. I'm not a businessman as he is, that's for sure. I have no personal experience in entrepreneurship. I only intended to give my thought out and I did not mean to insult his quality as a businessman, as I am sure he knows allot of things I don't.
My personal interest is to see and perhaps enter the world of entrepreneurship.
I mostly get anxious or irritated when people do not respond to what I write. This time I got anxious. I didn't mean to be patronizing if that's even the word.

How could I have communicated with him better...?
Or did I even do anything wrong or not good enough?
