Hi Riz,
my husband was recently diagnosed as bipolar/schizophrenia (within the last month). He is 32, but has been suffering for almost 20 years. No one has ever tried to get him help due to lack of education on the disease. I finally got him treatment because I recognized that something was really "wrong" and that it wasn't JUST a personality disorder, and let me tell you, it has been so hard. I feel guilty sometimes for not addressing it sooner, but I guess sometimes you dont want to believe that it is really true.
