What kind of car do you drive?
I drive a 2017 VW Golf, Wolfsburg edition. It has a manual transmission -- which is getting harder and harder to find -- and a panoramic sunroof. It is loads of fun to drive, but not very practical. I get 35 mpg.
I got a little hypo when I was buying my car last fall. I should have gone used, but I couldn't help myself. I spent a hundred hours looking at cars and doing research online. When I finally found what I was looking for, I bought it without thinking twice. I immediately had buyer's remorse and tried to trade it in for something else, but I would have lost about $5000 and fortunately changed my mind. I love my car.
The only problem is that I'm a little OCD. I can't park within a mile of anyone else, because I'm afraid I'll get a scratch or a dent. So far, my caution has paid off, because there's not a mark on it. But the anxiety has not been worth the price, and I would have been better off with an older car that has already been broken in.
I'm also a little neurotic about the odometer. I watch for palindromes and feel that I will have a good day whenever I pass one.
Just curious as to what you drive and why. Thanks in advance for responding.
