2014 Hyundai Santa Fe, AWD.. MSRP $34,000, but I got it for $28,000 when I bought it in 2014.

- Auto $2000 off because it was 2014 and 2015 models were coming out
- Auto $1000 off for repeat customers (parents bought their cars at the dealership)
- Auto $1000 off as student discount

That got it down to $30k

Got an additional $2k off for negotiation

Got the SUV because I'm planning for a dog. It's also practical because I can haul stuff and have extra trunk space. Not exactly the most "fashionable" car, but my parents' Hyundai's have lasted 11 yrs so far. OK mileage @25mpg using mid grade fuel. Not bad considering it's an SUV
