Yesterday I was let down by my closest friend. I travelled two hours to do something with them, and they didn't show.
No response to phone call, text, messages etc.
24 hours later not even an apology. No contact. Nothing.

I'd been looking forward to this since may. It was one of the few things that had kept me going.

The crushing disappointment is overwhelming.
