I've worked with a lot of entrepreneurs and startups. Something to know about entrepreneurs is that they tend to generate a dozen ideas a day and while they tend to take advice and inspiration from everything around them, they also receive a lot of advice they have to filter through and won't have the time or patience to go through all of it.

My advice for you if you're seriously entering entrepreneurship is to learn how to grow some thicker skin. People will think fast and talk faster, and often won't take the time to respond to every single thing they're emailed and sent. You'll come to learn that it's not personal and that entrepreneurs are very social in person, but won't have the time to remember and respond to everything else.
