I have found that since going on Inderal, it is a "healthier" med for me than Xanax. Xanax makes me stoned and sleepy. Inderal stops my hyperventilation and heart palpitations without the loopiness of Xanax. I now only take Xanax if my anxiety is at a 10 or I'm going to the dentist. I take both drugs only as needed.
