For me, it has to be intelligence combined with good common sense. I was married to a guy for 33 years who had a high IQ but absolutely not a tiny bit of common sense. It was a most miserable time of my life.

Sadly the lack of common sense didn't show up until after I was married to him....but it was a real turn off actually & lack of common sense over rode anything the intelligence provided. Definitely NOTHING sexy about that. Lack of respecting someone cancels out any high intelligence that existed.

Fighting all the time.....nothing sexy about it.

But intelligence for me is an attraction.
