I was wondering if any of y'all have found good ways to cope when overwhelmed by uncomfortable feelings (depression, anxiety, panic, fear, grief, whatever).

I've got lots of tricks up my sleeve to help prevent myself from getting to that place (exercise, sleep, healthy eating, yoga, distraction, etc.) but once a negative emotion sets in the only thing that can pull me out of the abyss is going to sleep and hoping that it's gone when I wake up. I've tried some grounding exercises (e.g. naming things you can see/smell/taste/etc.) but haven't hit on any that do the trick.

Anyone have a good one they'd be willing to share?
