It's difficult when those feelings come along. Now that I've gotten older, those feelings seem to come along a lot more. It's mostly health anxiety. Especially when something happened to me that was unexpected and the health issue is to be taken seriously. Perhaps as I get older and life is not better than now (in my social life now, improvements are needed), then I may not care as much.
I exercise either by bike riding or walking. Having idle time is what kills me. Having a good talk with my friend helps a lot. But it seems like he does not understand how I'm feeling and he doesn't have anxiety at all.
