I quite honestly don't trust my cat about that. And I don't trust myself to be able to feed another cat. I mean, I constantly expect to lose it and quit my job, and it won't do my sanity any good if I have to rely on my mom for two cats... And that's among the many things I don't trust. I'd rather have something inanimate that can't get sick, but can be repaired or replaced...
