I had surgery on my left foot several years ago to correct hammer toes. The orthopedist botched the job in my opinion, and my left foot no longer looks normal, and the pain has continued. I had a nerve in the foot, which became pinched as a result of the first surgery, removed by another doctor, but the pain came back.

The toes on my right foot have also become painful, due to the hammer toe condition, but b/c of my bad, first experience I have yet to address it. Besides which to get to a good doctor, it will be about a 1-1/2 ride oneway.

In order to not interfere with my work, the next available time I could do surgery is next summer.

I would love to hear from any other foot sufferers.
