My husband has schizoaffective disorder bipolar type.

He is on the following meds:
abilify maintena injection every 3 weeks
thorazine 200 mg twice a day
Cogentin
Inderal
Depakote (idk mg but it's a lot)

My husband has always had a poor memory but since he started taking thorazine, he can't remember anything. He will start driving somewhere and completely forget where he is going. He will start a conversation and have to stop because he can't remember. He will tell me something 3 times in a day as if it is a new story.

It has helped a BIT with the audible hallucinations but he is still experiencing them (he does on any medication he is on). Zyprexa was the best one for hallucinations but he gained 30 pounds in a MONTH and was a bit zombie like.

He has tried oral abilify, haldol, zyprexa, thorazine....and I think another.

I hate having to experiment with meds. This sucks. UGH
