The pain clinic I went to switched out my benzos for propranolol, best ever med I've ever had for anxiety....wishing the pdoc had known about that one. The pain clinic I went to consulted with the pdoc so all my meds were looked at for interacting. But I quit all the psych meds except the propranolol. I was ok until after the surgery when I quit the narcotics too quickly. I spun off into a depression, but my spine surgery was a success the only thing I need now is an occasional Tylenol. I tell ya surgery saved my life.
