Been through a similar list to get rid of auditory hallucinations. Thorazine knocked me out for hours and when I switched doctors while on it (I moved) the new doctor immediately took me off it. Latuda works for me but I put on around 100lbs, literally, so it has serious down sides. I generally don't get that zombie feel though so I like that about it.

I have been on all the first generation antipsychotics you mentioned because I was in county care for a while and they always prescribed the cheapest meds possible. Has he tried many of the newer atypical antipsychotics? They have the weight gain and can sedate but generally don't dull you out to the world so much. Is there a reason his doctor is prescribing the first generation meds? It is just very unusual with private doctors.
