Bill3: Good advice, I think. I've tried, but she sometimes says very hurtful things about her daughter (mostly) and sometimes me. I don't see how I can go along when she insists I must throw her daughter out of the house because she is poisoning her or that I'm cheating on her. Most of the time I try to stay positive and light and not disagree too much, but it's hard not to defend her daughter, who is feeling this very personally. I'll try to do better.
