I have only a few friends. It literally takes me years to consider anyone a friend. Before I trust them, before I figure out what if they have a strong moral compass, an enquiring mind, and able to empathize. I also can't be friends with someone who can not consider points of view other than their own without becoming angry, judgemental and abusive.
