My friend has real bad fibromyalgia. The docs kept giving her more and more and more pain pills and anxiety pills (valum, ativan, ect..) Suddenly they decided that she was addicted (which truley she is) and decided to take her off cold turkey. She told me this and I am thinking this is not the way to do it. They should have put her in the hospital or something. She is having horrible withdrawls. Shaking so bad she can't even walk. Paranoid thinking, some self-harm thoughts, and more. I don't know how to help her. I think she should go to the ER. Coulndn't they giver her something to help with withdrawls. If anyone can give me advice to help her throught this I would greatly appreciate it.
