EJ711, HANO is involved in the tearing down of the projects. The outside media is only speaking one sided. The Housing projects are so torn down and destroyed it will cost more and take more time to rebuild. Thats why, demolishing what is there and making new is what their plan is. They want to build so that it is a mixed area of housing. To satisfy and help both the no-income and the low income to get on their feet.

I dont want to talk much of this cause it really gets my blood boiling. But the truths are not being told on this matter to the outside public.

HANO is causing most of the problems, one way is by the billboards they are placing throughout the entire New Orleans metro area. For the past month or so, people of all races and backgrounds have been in an uproar becuase of the racial comments and demands. Its not a pretty site. But the mayor of New Orleans has made clear in the past what he expects in the recovery of the city.

If you go to the NOLA.com forums, im sure you will find alot more information thats closer to the truth from the people living in this region. I'm pretty sure you will also be able to find members on the forums who have taken pictures of these billboards and posted them in the forums. I warn you about going to these forums though. There is alot of hate and frustration going around on these. So dont take to heart anything said, it is only the opinions of present and past residents.
