I'm an emotional eater too. We're going through a lot of stress in our lives (spouse & I-marriage is perfect, it's other stuff) and I'm always having to watch myself.Otherwise, I'd have my emotional eating binges. It's hard to not want to sink myself in misery into food. Food doesn't help..at all. I'm only more miserable after the fact.
