It could be the purity of the CBD oil that you were given, that gave you undesirable side effects. The more pure the CBD oil, the less side effects.

The worry I have for myself (if I ever get in this situation due to my own thyroid disorder) is how well or not well my body would clear the iodine contrast used to treat thyroid cancer. But if you know deep down you want to use the two shots treatment then go that route.
Worrying about the unknown is futile, I've learned, even though I still sometimes do it. Worrying about what I can control is a lot easier, than worrying about what I can't control. When I start to worry like that, I distract myself, find others to talk to, go for walks, time myself ("Ok, I will worry like crazy today, and that's it!"), make a decision about what I'm worrying about (even if its about the unknowns), or just find things to busy myself with (cleaning, writing, emailing, chatting on PC central).
My mood problems stem from my unbalanced hormones and vitamin and mineral deficiencies that happen due to thyroid problems, and my low iron levels. It's really frustrating to have to take vitamin and mineral supplements, knowing they may or may not work. I have malabsorption problems with my digestion due to my thyroid disease. I can't absorb nutrients and it's really frustrating.
Anyway, your mood swings could be due to the thyroid nodule with the blood vessels, or you could be vitamin or mineral deficient. Did you get those levels checked yet?

All my blood levels are checked, full panel, once a year. My primary care just sucks. They kept upping the med and then asking me if I was taking it because my levels were still of the chart. I made them get me a specialist.
CBD made me nauseous. I may have had too much. I never had that effect back when I used to use the other parts of the related same plant.
