I know you prefer physical media. I normally do too, but I've been very happy using the iMood journal as a mood tracker and Journey as a diary. I like the security of having passcode protected writings, especially when I need to make a real time note about being triggered in a public setting (I'm way too paranoid to take a physical journal to work). iMood is particularly easy to use: just select a mood and corresponding numerical value and write a brief description if desired. Your entry is automatically time and date stamped, making it simple to keep track of mood trends over time.
