The less processed food you eat, the better you'll feel. I made homemade lentil soup and homemade chicken soup, and even grated carrots over spinach for a salad that I added cooked chicken to, and felt so much better than when I bought processed cheese and meat and slapped those between two slices of processed bread. I won't even eat prepackaged oatmeal anymore. My mood takes a nosedive if I eat processed food, and it's been really difficult for me to eat food from food pantries and food shelfs that are canned or frozen or nearly spoiled, while I go through this financial crisis. I miss the time when I could afford to buy fresh produce and cook what I wanted, when I wanted.
Real food is better for your mood and your digestive system. Processed food has so many chemicals and additives in it, and its GMO too.
