It took me so long to find wisdom. I used to be so gullible, so "immature"

"Immature" - long story, I personally don't think it's particularly helpful to label a young child (or anyone) as that and offer no help, no empathy, no support

But what do I know

I trusted too much

I didn't trust enough

I'm a sick puppy

And I've made some big mistakes,

Maybe I no longer need to beat myself up with that stick
