Thanks for the replies. That is a good point that if she said to bring baby, she is likely expecting that baby will need to be fed whilst I'm there and she knew my intention was to breastfeed. She's also a mother herself, so would understand what it's like with a newborn and no feeding schedule.

I maybe just need to practice discrete feedings using a coverup!
