I agree with everything said. Though I need protein too. As long as I remember to eat and eat healthy I feel much better.
When my kids were little I found that my daughter had what seemed like mood swings. She would go from happy child to monster who didn't want me to touch her but didn't want me to go to far away from her. It was awful. When she was three I got it down to over processed food and red food die. Got rid of that stuff and got the nice kid back. She is able to eat red food die now and tolerate processed food but she's 27 now. For the most part she cooks real food. She was saying the other day that she is getting tired of reading articles about budgeting and saving that begin with cook real food and take your lunch to work. She is already doing that.
